We've Got Answers
Will we be outside?
Yes, most of the evening will be celebrated outside! Please bring a light jacket just in case there is weather on the day. At this time of year, highs are usually in the 60-70's and lows in the 50's at night.
Are children allowed at the ceremony?
Any children listed on your invitation are welcome to come! Please note, there will not be a special children's meal offered.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that there are no phones & cameras during our wedding ceremony. We have a great photographer and will share the images afterwards.
Will there be parking available?
There will be parking available on site. However, if you plan to drink, please take a rideshare option. A turn across the freeway is required to exit and it should not be done when drinking. Town is only a few miles away so rideshare should not be very expensive.
Will there be restrictive dietary need options?
Yes! We will have multiple food options ant food will be food stations. Everything will be gluten and nut free. There will be options for vegetarian as well. If you are concerned beyond that, please feel free to reach out to us and we can chat more!
What should I wear?
Welcome Party: TBD
Wedding Day: Spring Black Tie Requested. Muted/Pastel Colored Long Dresses, Florals, Patterns, etc. We want you to look your best! The wedding party will be wearing blue dresses.
Pool Party: TBD
Where should I stay?
We have two rooms blocks depending on what you are looking for!
Our first room block is at Sands Inn and Hotel. Breakfast is included here, there is a pool, pets are allowed, free parking, and it is the closest hotel to the wedding venue. Room block code COMING SOON.
The second room block is at Granada Hotel in Downtown San Luis Obispo. This is a great option if you plan to explore downtown San Luis Obispo while you are in town as it is on Higuera Street (Main Street). Room block code COMING SOON
How do I get to San Luis Obispo?
There are a few options depending on where you are coming from. If in California, driving is 3 hours or less from most places.
For those flying, your options are the following:
San Luis Obispo County Airport: 15 minute drive to venue
Santa Barbara Airport: 1 hour drive to venue
Fresno Regional Airport: 2 hours 30 minutes drive to venue
Los Angeles Airport: 3 hours 15 minutes drive to venue
San Jose Airport: 2 hours 50 minutes drive to venue
There is also a train that connects through San Luis Obispo to most major cities, as well as multiple bus routes.
If I am coming from out of town, should I rent a car?
San Luis Obispo is a very walkable city! We recommend staying in Downtown San Luis Obispo if you do not have a vehicle, and taking ride share to the venue.
